Learn the Essentials of Qurʾanic Arabic
Qurʾan Intensive
Allah ﷻ tells us in the Qurʾan about the Qurʾan itself:
هَٰذَا بَيَانٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
“This is a clear lesson to people, and guidance and teaching for those who are mindful of Allah.” —Qurʾan 3:138
The Book of Allah is our guide, full of powerful reminders to help us navigate through the life of this world, and alhamdulillah, there are so many ways to meaningfully engage with it.
We will spend our time immersed in the Qurʾan, developing appreciation and strengthening our love for the Book of Allah ﷻ. Students will be introduced to foundational topics within Qurʾan studies and equipped with the tools necessary to better and more meaningfully engage with the Qurʾan.
This course will be offered in-person and online for ages 12 and up.
The only prerequisite necessary is being able to read and write the Arabic letters.
Qurʾan for Kids
During Qur’an for Kids, students will dive into the Qur’an! They will be introduced to Qur’anic Studies including amazing virtues of the Qur’an, how and when the Qur’an was revealed, the relationship between Qur’an and Seerah, role models and character development in the Qur’an, as well as what Allah tells us in His Book about His love and mercy.
This course will be offered in-person and online for ages 7 to 11.

Course Overview
Introduction to Qur’anic Arabic and Application
Students will be introduced to foundational concepts and principles of the Arabic language and will learn how to identify them in the Qurʾan. During the Qur’anic Arabic Application session, students will practice these concepts in drills and exercises so that when they encounter them in the Qur’an, they are able to better translate and understand what they are reading.
Guided Qur’anic Listening and Reflection
Students will complete a study of key themes found within the Qur’an through guided listening and reflection of select passages. Our goal is for students to feel prepared when they interact with the Qur’an, and to derive meaning and guidance from it throughout their lives.
In-Depth Tafsir and Analysis
Students will end their day with an in-depth study and analysis of Surah al-Hujurat based on a variety of classical texts and works on the explanation of the Qur’an. This particular chapter of the Qur’an very beautifully provides us with guidance regarding conduct and ethical dealings between people and lays out the ideal construct of a Muslim community.
Qurʾanic Vocabulary
Students will memorize essential words within the Qurʾan and build upon their understanding and translation.
Essentials of Qurʾanic Sciences
Students will be introduced to a primer on the Sciences of the Qurʾan. They will learn the differences between Makki and Madani surahs, the circumstances of revelation, and other relevant topics.

Timing
Qurʾan Intensive & Qurʾan Intensive Online: 9 am to 2 pm central, every day, weekends included. We have a modified schedule on Jumuʿah.
Qurʾan for Kids: 9 am to 3 pm central, daily, weekends included. Schedule will include arts, crafts, and recess.
Qurʾan for Kids Online: 10 am to 1 pm central, daily, weekends included. Schedule will include live Q&A and class hangouts.
